Sam’s Club is has been named the fastest growing brand in America in 2016. On this particular brief I was tasked with developing the identity for the new ‘Sugar’ range. It is important for Sam’s Club products to NOT follow the market and therefore creating a huge shelf stand out. After studying the current US sugar market I came up with 3 directions in which to take the designs: ‘Pure and Simple’, ‘Look Closely’ and ‘Chef’s Culinary Creation’. All routes were based around different stages of the baking process from the baker’s utensils to the sugar’s aesthetic form.
